The article in our Board Talk column on water permits has been corrected. Land Board member Chris Yuen did not add a condition requiring a sublessee establishing an annual crop to harvest it before the permit expires. Rather, he required Mahi Pono inform any lessees that rely on irrigation water from the RP that the availability of water is based on a month-to-month permit that ends in a year.
