Defense Department Study Focuses On Relations with Indigenous People

From the Pacific Studies Center, a San Fran–cisco-based group that monitors actions of the U.S. Department of Defense, comes word of a new, "scrupulously documented” study urging the military to work closely with in–digenous people, including Native Hawaiians. The report, "Native American Affairs and the Department of Defense," by Donald Mitchell and David Rubenson, was pub–lished by the RAND Corporation.
